I think i shouldn't be too hopeful but yet i wanna be.. Just by having small expectations sometimes do get you down when not met. But by not having a aim sorts of like get u no where. But then, do we do something or go for something when we actually know tt its almost impossible but yet again may bring you small sparkles of work, job, love, life satisfaction?

things have certainly slowed down these few days and life has been treating me slightly better

I've received new directions and better supervision for my project and thus have an even clear motivation to strive for the things i need.

Had been spending perhaps too much money these few days as well by not cooking and really feel bad about it. Must start to cook nowadays to cut cost already. Too much a pampered life will lead to bo liu!

Not entirely satisfied with my honours results thus far but well, its over and now i've gotta strive for greater heights and achieve higher aims to pull me back into track. I promise i will put in even more effort than i use to.

Everybody is going back for summer leaving only a few behind. It might not be a bad thing if i think of it in another point of view. Ah well, I've just gotta look hard into reality. Nobody is gonna be with u forever. You've just gotta suck it up sometimes.

House inspection, selling of car, looking for new house, cleaning of house, trying to work hard on honours.

Failing house inspection, fail selling of car, failed in fighting for house, failed on scoring for research proposal.

How bad can life treat me sometimes??? Who says life is easy overseas??? Who says that its alright to fall down???

I feel so sad, dejected, lonely, unappreciated, and just so tired from everything....

Hell weeks and hard work paid off...

Finally got myself settled down to pen down some thoughts for my blog these few weeks.

Well, these few weeks had been a horrible with many super late nights and nightmares with the thesis and presentations

In my thesis period, had so much amendments when i first got the stuff back from Bob. Felt so disappointed in my scientific ability but I must really say i'm lucky to have chosen bob as my supervisor. He edited my work to a scientific analysis.

Had my presentation today and was glad that it went quite well although had minor hiccups with my Q and A. Happy with my practice and also hard work paid off. during my presentation, i think i had made an offensive finger sign (opposite view of *twist*, it actually means "COME FUCK ME to french)... omg.!!! lol..no wonder my lab group people and gabs were laughing away... hahah... but it should be alright la..

Hope tt i can continue this standard and make it pass through the finishing line with a bang.

Now just gonna wait for feedbacks from the academics anf see how it goes... Fingers and legs crossed.

How strong can ironman get????

How strong can man get.... I'm working in my office with mr ironman... He suddenly chipped off the wood from the table which is held together by nails. I was then astonished by his strength when he just uses brute strength to "push" the nail into the table.












p.s I usually use hammer to hammer nails. Ironman uses fingers... His finger also iron la...

Mr iron and venturing into goldcoast....

Sunday,

The motto for tt day is.... "DRIVE ONLY"..... after dropping mr iron at the drop off zone, i did a dirt track course out all the way to the main road as it was the only way out... Shiok only....hahah..... My journey started with ventured into goldcoast without knowing anything about tt place. So, the time was like maybe 0530am? I went to surfer's paradise, Mt tambourine, west field, pacific paradise, pass by movie, dream, sea world, detour at henlensvale, broadbeach, then end up at habourtown for brunch.

Did abit of work as lucky enough to find power point and free wifi.;) Went to look around before heading to pick mr iron man at the bay. Was just in time to meet him at his last lap at the turning point. I suddenly felt the sudden urge to take part in triathelons as well. The main inspiration was tt i saw ppl of all shapes, sizes and ages coming together to enjoy the event. Not for any thing other than personal achievement. Family and friends cheer the participants on with passion. It was an rather inspirational moment i thot to myself. Its a priceless feeling tt the athletes get at the end of the race and i want tt feeling too. :)

I'll probably try one of the triathlons in time to come. I feel that i could do it. Anyhow, We adjourn to sunnybanks for him to replenish his energy with little hongkong... Yes... "Lau mian" again..:)

This was the highlight of the week.:)

Sat drive to caplyso bay

Well, here goes...

To date, the most exciting event tt i can remember ever since i last blogged was the latest saturday and sunday.

Saturday had breakfast with depper gang, Hairul and Ah Chew and corqutte.( dunno how to spell la..) Then drove off to goldcoast to help mr ironman put his bike for sunday's event. It was quite a nice drive along the highway until a jam occured. Then mr ironman sai kun abit coz its like gonna be late. worst still, suddenly the beeper went off from his car. The jeep "OVERHEAT" HAHAHHAHAHA.... How exciting. Later found out that maybe its because of insufficient engine oil.. Mangaed to waste another 20 mins just by letting things cool. After continuing the journey, mr ironman decided to turn on the heater to full blast to play with me. Then I went,

Me: "Na bei, si bei hot la!"
Ironman: "no choice la... release heat" (cheeky smile)
Me: "ok... u want to play right...."

I was the driver, so i had the power to lock the windows. Then i wind up all the windows with the heater full blast,...... IN A TRAFFIC JAM.... temperature outside was like 33 degrees... Both of us later sweat like pig la..hahahhahah... at last he say he buay ta han alr.. loss too much fluid..hahha...

Emptiness.........

Wahaha.. Its been a while since the last entry...

I dunno why I just feel very empty and unmotivated these few days to do any work. All progress is so slow and stagnant. Feels tt I've lost a certain driving force this sem. What is it tt is stirring my emotions, i dunno.

Sitting at the library seems to be such a meaningless session and i yearn to just go home and shut off. Maybe because its friday but it might be just an excuse.

Its just waiting for time to past and shit to boil, but i hate tt kinda feeling. I want to feel and be happy again. Guess hanging out with friends is probably the best way but we all need to do work and stuff.

I really have to snap out of this shit.

Laptop crashed and motherboard got burnt... so there was no entries.

Anyway, these few days, the highlight was the fireworks festival last sat.

Night Activity...Total randomness...

Tonight was nasi briyani again for dinner. was suppose to just go for a night drink with company but ended up with an impromptu ktv session for 2 hours. hahahah.. But it was really fun.:) Happy to have done it and enjoyed the company la. Hope this would never cease to stop.

Surprised party and.... Rocky??!!

Rocky paid a visit to depper and boy was he good.. We were all in aww of his power.Unfortunately, Rocky cannot be revealed because of the big video file, just have to wait for a upload on a more free day.

Today's my birthday and had a surpised from my group of friends from brisssy.. Thanks everyone for the lovely effort!!! It's really a pleasant scene where my good friends come together to celebrate with me.

It first started with bryan asking me out for coffee with veron mastering the whole act behind the scene. People from all over the shop came over and hid in the garage, waiting for me to go in before springing into birthday songs. :) Unforgettable scene. Thanks everyone!

Had dinner at station road and boy I think I took the largest serving of all which CK argued tt all has equal weight according to his "weighing scale". Not sure whether is it a blessing or what. hahaha.... Usually have 六分饱 but think tonight have till 百分饱. We have apple crumble for dessert which was good stuff. :) Thumbs up.!

Came home and had a guitar session. Gabriel or rather veron was somehow invited out by the presence of beer, said tt my guitar lousy and bryan's singing sucks la... hahaha... so funny...

Life is full of irony and challenges.

Its been a while since i last blogged. Guess i felt lazy.oops...

Had a slow but steady past week and had many many many thots and stuff which wasn't that pleasent. People dun treasure the things they have till the day when they lose it. Its such a irony. But, I've past that stage alr.

Had badminton sessions on saturdays and monday as usual. WOnder how long can this session last. I might be well playing it for the last time yesterday. So sad la...

And i just realised that I'll be here all alone for the summer. That is just so depressing. Everyone is leaving already but and i'm the only 1 staying. Must therefore make full use of time here with all my friends before they all go.

Took up a challenge from "ba chai" to whip up carrot cake.. I'll DO it!!!! and I'll succeed sometime this week!!!!!

Highlight of the day was simply to just have dinner out with friends. Simple but very enjoyable. Came home to do some work and had an "early night". IPPT tml...wahahha...

But my ankle sores to the max la. Think i shouldn't have aggravated it. But its too late now.. Felt the pain after standing broad jump. Arrgh... But nevertheless, I will do it again next week. :)

Now i realized dogs have just so much energy to give and all they need is 10mins of rest before they are ready for next activity. Lego and Russell are just fine examples.

This was the peaceful moment i had in the afternoon... So nice....

Had chicken rice for dinner for 7 people... Very successful this time round. :) Thanks to bryans "gunpowder" for the chicken. :)



Had to go back to lab this evening to continue the experiments. Damn, this stupid experiment is costing me 3 weeks just for extraction. Cannot afford to make any mistakes on my real sample. Half way through the procedure, i had to refill the beakers with distilled water...

Holding the beakers with my one hand, 1 switched on the tap with the other and water came gushing out of the rubber tubbing attached to the pipe.

Mishie: Hey... tt looks like a little boy's wee wee...
Me: Hmmm..... How do you know it looks like tt??

After tt, the rubber tube slipped out of my hand as i was trying to adjust the flowrate.

Mishie excited: WEE WEE OUT OF HAND!!!!!! HAHAH!!!!

Today's main dish was yee mee..... Hee... Its been while since i had this myself.. Finally found the secret to the dish... Whahahha....

After dinner was coffee at milton... Serves all types of chocolates la.. Had a discussion and depper boys have new names:

Boring day... BUT useful recovery

Today had been resting at home and working from home... Guilty of not completing my experiment although should have been done last week... Ooops...hahah..

Brissy Half marathon

Wahahah... Haven't been updating my post... Oops...

But on hindsight, there wasn't really much of a highlight to bring out for the past few days....

Today was something special... Ran 21km in brisbane and it was a really refreshing experience but had to suffer the consequences of having a swollen ankle and sore legs.. But it really felt good to have a run.

The gift after the run includes a cap and a key chain... The shirt had to be purchased though... Think they're on a really tight budget this year.... Anyway, happy to have cleared this. :)

Will try to get some rest and do some work liao.

Having a Tooheys extra dry as I write today's entry.

Came home and went groceries with anders at Toowong.. I drove again.. hahha.. how exciting.. Came home with today's special menu.. Western..

Consisted of 1 x sunny side up egg
1 x middle bacon
1 x serving of caramelised onion
1 x pork chop tenderised
free scoops of mashed potatoes
2 packet of sauce..

Bryan loved the sauce and potatoes.... So happy to cook and people enjoy ur dishes la..
Now I understand why father always cook no matter how tired he is from work.... I guess its the satisfaction tt you receive at the end of the day. Must appreciate my dad's cooking more often in future.

In process of cooking, I broke a plate and got hot oil on my face!!! haiyo.. Like a pain la...Lucky closed my eyes otherwise got fried eyeballs to eat liao...

Finding hard to get highlight nowadays... think because we live in a routine world and being a typical singaporean, we go through motions which is a bad thing for our souls and mind.

Today's dinner was nasi briyani... wa.. its been long since i tasted it and decided to try it.... Turn out pretty well though... Happy that all enjoys the dinner...:)

Its been a month since sch starts. Everyone is starting to get busy. Gabs is working hard on his thesis and coursework, Bryan is working hard and finding job, Anders working hard on his body and work... I guess I need to keep up..

Russell is just such a cutie dog... Although frquently wees in the living room, but he just makes you forgive him by the look of his eyes...

明天会更好

Went for a morning swim from the usual saturday routine. Swimming, breakfast at 四宝， dog park for a run in future, and badminton at night. Saturday shall be a sports day.

After badminton went to cyber for a meal and then came home liao. Busy but fulfilling at the end of the day.

My heart still not stable but I know i must be strong for I'm pillar for myself.

Was talking to gabriel and bryan at the coffee session. "what's the strongest and weakest traits or points that you think you possess." and what is my mission in life... I have lifed for 23 years and think its time i ponder about it... I'm still finding my strength and weakness. Perhaps you can help me identify them....

Karen had a run that didn't went so well... felt bad for her as she takes pride and feels for the things that she do. However, stupid cock up organizers didn't manage the events properly. Well, shit happens and we must know how to learn from lessons. Many more runs to go and hope the rest is well and smooth. Didn't get a chance to talk to her as i was out. Forgot to switch off my computer and she thot i was there but she talked to nobody. Ahyo... series of unfortunate events there. Nevertheless, I seemed to be rather undeterred by it. I think it might be a new confidence that she gives me and I learn to accept and cherish. Yes of course there is bumps and I might be kinda stubborn but feel its not the same as before.... good or bad still too early to say.... Well, 只可以希望明天会个更好。。。 Have a good rest Karen! You deserve it...

The Friday is here but unsorted

Today's highlight would be the day itself.... So happy that its finally a Friday and looked forward to weekend as there is so much I would wanna do... Badminton sessions, calling Karen and home, cooking, relaxing, etc....

Today was supposed to go cit but due to unfortunate events can't make it.... Anyhow, went on to queensland transport to get license thingy done thanks to Gabriel, Bryan and Jon for the assistance. After sorting it out, went home and read some articles before dining home with spaghetti.

Oh ya was playing with Russell too when i got home. He's such a sore loser. When he can't reach me when doing catching, he barks and whine... hahha... so adorable at the sight of him though.

Never thought I would go out but in the end went with housemates to Jon place till 2am... Like a tiring la... Won some rounds in the end and paid for the expenses this week.. Phew... Going to be broke soon... Feeling a little upset as I've yet to sort things out with Karen.... Not having good sleeps whenever all these happens....Feel vexed when I think about it... Hope iI can sort it out soon.

Thursday's main event was just out for a simple dinner with Yenwei at cybercity with a gang of say 20 people??? Can't remember. Its been exactly a year since I met with Wee Hong and Bryan since her last birthday.

After dinner came home and had chance to skype with Karen but unfortunately an misunderstanding occured with Karen. I was talking in a joking fashion to a friend about getting gifts was like "compulsory" or not would later "kena"... Karen had then looked at the message and interpreted it as getting something for her was like compelling myself to do things against my wish which wasn't what I meant. :(

It was meant to be just a general joking comment from guys but apparently got caught for that. Hope she'll cool down soon...

Day at Ekka.......

The highlight of the day would be going to brisbane ekka. Woke up early at 0800hr for ekka and went for train ride there courtewsy of Bryan's effort to send us to the station. took our own sweet time and by the time reach there, Reach there liao spent quite a bit of time to rally up with some friends and off veron and I went to tour around.. To sum it up in a few words, its a 超级大的 pasa malam and funfair... Went into the Dog's pavilion and it really made me a happy man looking at all those beautiful dogs....

Had some time to chill out went for some games... man i spent $50 for playing the games la... Played the stupid hammer and nearly got the prize but just couldn't get the bell... so addicted la... Decided to walk away instead of going in for more.. Felt like a sucker for losing so much money on a game........ hahaha..

After ekka was back to school to conduct some more experiments with help of Bryan again.... Simple stuff and boy can bryan "suck". hee... you knows what I mean.... anyhow, came home and took an extremely powerful nap... Opps... Had coffee with gang after dinner....

Shijian took home Yoshi and Russel eager to meet him...




















Tml is yenwei's birthday and so later will probably drop by for a "surprise party"... School starts again tml... but I look forward to talking to Karen nearer the weekends again... :)
